Collection: Exfoliator

Step 3: Exfoliator — Reveal Smoother, Brighter Skin

Why Exfoliation Matters as Step 3

After completing your double cleanse (Step 1 + Step 2), your skin is clean but still has a layer of dead skin cells on the surface. This is where gentle chemical exfoliation comes in as Step 3.

Why You Need Step 3 in Your Glass Skin Routine

  • Removes Dead Skin Cells — Over time, dead skin builds up and makes your complexion look dull and rough. Gentle exfoliation sloughs them away to reveal fresher, brighter skin underneath.
  • Improves Skin Texture — Regular, gentle exfoliation helps smooth rough patches, minimize the appearance of pores, and create that signature glass skin smoothness.
  • Unclogs Pores — BHA (salicylic acid) penetrates pores to dissolve oil and debris, helping prevent blackheads and breakouts.
  • Better Product Absorption — When dead skin is removed, your toner, essence, and serums can penetrate more effectively, making the rest of your routine work better.
  • Brightens Skin — AHA (glycolic, lactic acid) helps fade dark spots and promotes a more even, radiant tone over time.

How to Use (Step 3)

  1. After rinsing your water cleanser, pat your face dry or leave it slightly damp.
  2. Apply your exfoliating toner or serum using clean hands or a cotton pad.
  3. Start slow — use 2–3 times per week at first, then gradually increase as your skin adjusts.
  4. Always follow with hydrating products (toner, essence, moisturizer) and never skip sunscreen the next morning.

Types of Exfoliants We Recommend

  • AHA (Glycolic / Lactic Acid) — Best for brightening and smoothing surface texture
  • BHA (Salicylic Acid) — Best for oily, acne-prone, or congested skin
  • PHA — Gentler option, great for sensitive skin

Pro Tip: Don’t over-exfoliate. If your skin feels tight, stingy, or looks red, reduce frequency. The goal is smooth, glowing skin — not irritation. Always pair exfoliation with good hydration and sun protection.
