Step 7: Eye Cream — Hydrate & Protect the Delicate Eye Area
Why Eye Cream Matters as Step 7
The skin around your eyes is the thinnest and most delicate on your face — up to 10 times thinner than the rest of your facial skin. This is why dedicated **eye cream** is essential in your Glass Skin routine.
Benefits of Using Eye Cream
- Deep Hydration — Eye creams are formulated with rich, nourishing ingredients that hydrate without being too heavy or causing milia.
- Reduces Fine Lines & Wrinkles — Ingredients like peptides, retinol (gentle), and hyaluronic acid help smooth crow’s feet and prevent premature aging.
- Brightens Dark Circles — Many eye creams contain brightening agents like vitamin C, niacinamide, or caffeine to reduce the appearance of dark circles.
- Reduces Puffiness — Cooling ingredients and caffeine help de-puff tired eyes.
- Strengthens the Skin Barrier — Protects this fragile area from environmental damage and dehydration.
How to Use (Step 7)
- After your treatment serum/ampoule has absorbed, take a small amount of eye cream (rice grain size is enough for both eyes).
- Gently tap and press around the orbital bone using your ring finger (never rub or pull the skin).
- Apply from the inner corner outward, and don’t forget the area under the brow bone.
- Use morning and night for best results.
Pro Tip: Start using eye cream in your 20s as prevention. The earlier you begin, the better your results will be long-term. If you have very dry under-eyes, you can also use a small amount of your facial oil or moisturizer in this area.
