Collection: Treatment (Serum & Ampoule)

Step 6: Treatment Serum & Ampoule — Target Your Skin Concerns

Why Treatment Serums & Ampoules Matter as Step 6

After hydrating your skin with toner and essence (Steps 4 & 5), your skin is now perfectly prepped to receive active ingredients. This is the moment for treatment serums and ampoules — the powerhouse step of your Glass Skin routine.

What’s the Difference?

  • Serum: Lightweight, fast-absorbing formulas with a moderate concentration of active ingredients. Used daily.
  • Ampoule: More concentrated and potent than serums. Often used as a treatment cure (e.g., 7–14 days) or for intensive results.

Benefits of Step 6

  • Target Specific Concerns — Whether you want to brighten dark spots, reduce fine lines, control oil, fade acne marks, or improve texture, this is the step where you choose products based on your skin goals.
  • Higher Concentration of Actives — Serums and ampoules contain a much higher percentage of active ingredients than toners or essences.
  • Visible Results — Consistent use of the right treatment serum/ampoule delivers noticeable improvements in brightness, smoothness, and overall skin health.
  • Customizable Routine — You can rotate different serums depending on your skin’s needs (e.g., Vitamin C in the morning, Retinol at night).

Popular Treatment Ingredients

  • Brightening: Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Alpha Arbutin, Tranexamic Acid
  • Anti-Aging: Retinol, Peptides, Bakuchiol
  • Hydration + Barrier: Hyaluronic Acid, Ceramides, Panthenol
  • Acne & Pores: Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide, Zinc

How to Use (Step 6)

  1. After your essence has fully absorbed, apply 2–3 drops of serum or ampoule to your face.
  2. Gently pat and press into the skin until absorbed.
  3. Wait 1–2 minutes before moving to the next step (Eye Cream or Moisturizer).
  4. Use sunscreen every morning when using active ingredients.

Pro Tip: Don’t layer too many strong actives at once. Start with one treatment serum and give your skin time to adjust. Less is more when it comes to actives — consistency beats intensity.
